Club America

  • Description: Club America promotes conservative principles, constitutionalism, and patriotism. They work to  build strong community networks, help students register to vote, and inspire meaningful conversations about the foundations of a free society. They meet with community leaders across all levels of government to learn more about their roles and effects on students' everyday life. 

Life Smarts Club

    Open to all  High School students, LifeSmarts is a fun, engaging club that builds essential life skills. Through competitions, field trips, and guest speakers, students explore topics like Personal FinanceHealth and SafetyConsumer Rights and ResponsibilitiesTechnology & Workforce Preparation, and Environmental Resources.

    With online competitions and a chance to qualify for an in-person event in February! Members can earn scholarship opportunities, gain practical knowledge, and prepare for real-life challenges. Join LifeSmarts to learn, compete, and grow!

Writers' Guild

  • Description: Writers' Guild is a club for students who enjoy writing. Our club meetings are a great place to connect with other writers and have fun playing word games, freewriting, judging writing contests, and more!

TTRPG Club

  • Description: Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) Club gives students the opportunity to play a variety of tabletop role-playing games in a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment. Members create characters and campaigns that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork while socializing with fellow students. Games may include Dungeons & DragonsMonster of the Week, and other tabletop RPGs for students interested in exploring different systems.

 FCCLA Club

  • Description: The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club focuses on improving the lives of families. Students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) courses can join. We meet once a month during Jay Time and decide on our community service. FCCLA members have the opportunity to compete with other FCCLA members in the nation by conducting and presenting projects in Child Development, Interpersonal Relationships, Fashion or Interior Design, and Culinary Arts. 

Speech and Debate

  • Description: Speech and Debate is a competitive activity that allows students to explore different skills and passions. Whether they want to act, perform, speak about topics they find interesting, or debate about issues we have something for everyone. The team meets Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room 500. 

CENTERSTAGE

  • Description: Centerstage club focuses on supporting the theatre department by fundraising for plays and musicals, creating merchandise to sell during intermission, and planning events to grow the program. 

National Honor Society

  • Description: Membership in the Marshfield High School chapter of the National Honor Society is an honor bestowed upon selected students. Selection for membership is by a faculty council and is based upon outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities. The selection procedure shall commence after grades have been posted for the 1st semester.

Step 1. Junior and senior students must meet the scholastic requirement of a 3.0 GPA.
Step 2. A student who qualifies scholastically will be notified of his/her scholastic
eligibility by letter, and invited to apply for membership by picking up the
appropriate forms from the NHS sponsor, and returning the forms by the
appropriate deadline, completed and signed.
Step 3. A list of applicants shall be compiled and teachers will rate applicants in
character, leadership, and service using a rating scale. Teachers will evaluate only
those students they have in class or sponsor in an organization.
Step 4. The faculty council shall meet to review the applications and ratings from the
faculty, and select the NHS members.
Step 5. All new NHS members will be notified by mail, and shall be invited to attend the
formal induction ceremony.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)

  • Description: FCA is a sports ministry (but open to all students) that connects coaches and athletes to grow in their faith and use their influence for Jesus Christ.
